What brought you to Range Lending?

We started Range Lending because we wanted to take the friction out of the mortgage process, make it easier for our clients, faster for our processors and loan officers and with the best rates in the market.  We did that.  The goal of Range Lending is to service clients at a high level and deliver the best pricing available.  We are on the right track and our client testimonials show that.

What is an interesting fact about you?

Most people don't know that I went on a date with Miss America when I was 11 years old.

What is your niche in lending?

I love working with first time buyers because I feel like I do a good job at explaining the process and making the unknown and scary, known and comfortable.  My niche however, based on transactions that I close are with my past client base.  I have been writing loans for over a decade and now most of my closings come from a past client referral, or a past client refinance/purchase.  My niche is all of my past clients and taking great care of them.  

What do you do when you are not working?

When I am not in the office, I am either driving one of my 3 boys to a sporting event, or practice and I love it.  I also love winter sports; snowmobiling gets my blood pumping and I don't know if there is a better place to be than atop a mountain with my snowboard.  When the snow is gone, I settle for golfing and love how that game is so difficult and frustrating, but keeps me coming back for more.

Why do you work in lending? 

I chose a career in mortgage lending because I truly care about people and believe that a mortgage transaction can make a huge difference in a families life, I like being an advisor and part of that.  Now that we have become more of a work from home society, I really love my career because I can help clients from anywhere in the world as long as I have an internet connection.  Mortgage lending is what I do, it's who I am, I am proud of that and I will do it most likely until I die.
